Our deficit is high enough

While American families struggle with high unemployment, a cloudy future, a state of bureaucratic economic chaos and a lack of leadership infecting our Washington, D.C., political elites, President Obama wants more deficit spending. His political allies, not just Democrats, don't want offsetting spending cuts and would rather increase the deficit, which I think dictates additional irresponsible thinking.
Our deficit is high enough, additional spending for disaster relief must be offset with other spending cuts. Finding offsets should be easy, as easy as it was to earmark them in - failing to do so is irresponsible. Members of both political parties long have abused a balanced approach to budgeting and selfishly enriched their personal benefits at the expense of the taxpayer.
Acknowledge your guilt. Get rid of the deficit. And not by printing money. Take some personal dollar “hits” yourself as a part of the spending offsets to help those hurt by all the recent disasters.
