Other places better suited to nurse babies
May. 10, 2010 12:25 am
Regarding the nursing incident May 2 in Lindale Mall (nursing mother complaining how she was treated by a security guard):
Why would nursing mothers want to feed their children in a noisy children's play area? (That includes bottle-feeding mothers.)
Rather, wouldn't it be preferable in a quiet, peaceful environment?
Von Maur has a lovely restroom, with comfortable chairs and sofa, and includes a separate smaller room with a rocking chair. So there is absolutely no need to feed children in a noisy atmosphere.
I applaud your wanting to nurse, but suggest doing so in a more suitable location.
