Open wallets, home to display sincerity

Every other day or so some kindhearted person writes that we must take in the children and adults who are converging on the U.S. borders.
To those kindhearted people I suggest the following: You start by opening your own homes to these children and others who are flooding our country.
Take in as many as you have room for. Feed them, clothe them, take care of their medical needs. Do this with your own money. You have such a generous spirit. Then you pay for it. It is very easy to be generous with other people's money.
When those who are adamant about us taking in these people open up their own homes and wallets, then I will be convinced of their sincerity.
