Only we can fix Congress

It disgusts me that our government is not capable of making long-range measurable plans that last past the term of the current congressional majority, yet both parties claim to represent us and make decisions for the good of the country. I'm tired of a government that offers vacillating indecisive choices, and snubs our courts and constitution, thus eroding confidence in our republic. All the while our enemies laugh, and our allies no longer trust our visions for future alliances or support.
The harsh reality is, WE have allowed this to happen and only WE can fix it. Obviously, our current congressional membership lacks leadership and ability to make long-range decisions as well as the backbone to stand up for such decisions. They have no intention of running the country, they only intend to run for office and are afraid to aggravate their donor base or upset their party leadership.
The only viable solution is to vote these people out of office. We need to search out those that exhibit the ability and desire to run the country using constitutional guidelines to preserve the integrity and respect of the U.S., even if the right path crosses with their constituents and the party elite. We need to write Congress and legally protest. I’m not looking for a Democrat or Republican, that’s what got us into this mess. I’m looking for an American to represent us all for the good of the country and not for the good of their political aspirations.
