One excuse didn’t work then. It must not now

An infamous sentence that the world heard after World War II was "I was only following orders." This sentence was spoken by German military leaders on trial at Nuremberg. It was used to justify the murder of millions of Jewish men, women, and children. That excuse didn't work then and it must not work now.
