On puppies, children and grandmas

In response to Larry Kudej's March 31 letter ('Is elder abuse Iowa's dirty little secret?”): I love puppies and kids, but I love grandmas too. Please let your legislators know that you want abuse against seniors to be just as important to them as abuse against puppies and kids seems to be.
If you look around, you'll see there are several kinds of elder abuse - neglect, financial, physical, emotional and sexual, and also self-degradation. Your caring might save a grandma's life. Kudos to Larry for pointing this out.
