Olympics cause for celebration from queen
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 4, 2012 12:52 pm
Was anyone impressed with the Queen's presence during the Olympics' opening ceremony? I know the “opening words” are prescribed by the International Olympic Committee, but goodness, had she just eaten a lemon? This should have been an occasion to celebrate her country's good fortune in holding this magnificent event with a friendly smile and a little animation.
She looked like she was bored and mad about something.
