Brent Oleson has been a committed public servant in Linn County for almost 14 years and I support him in his effort to bring efficiencies, management and modern practices to the Linn County Treasurer’s Office.
Many people don’t understand the county treasurer’s office or the work that is done by over 30 employees. It provides services that support a resident’s ability to get their property taxes paid and to obtain auto license tags. The treasurer also oversees investment policies to make the best use of millions of dollars and keeps money flowing to all the appropriate jurisdictions once your taxes are paid.
Brent Oleson’s service as a Linn County supervisor gives him insight into the office of Linn County treasurer and his knowledge as a manager will help him bring efficiencies to the office. Please vote on Nov. 8 and I urge you to vote for Brent Oleson for Linn County treasurer.
