Obama’s leadership skills are lacking

To the editor:
I find it puzzling that President Barack Obama would rather blame police officers around our country for people shooting each other in poor communities rather than show leadership by demanding peace/calmness. The result of his message is 100 police officers getting injured following the Baltimore riots and a 25-year police officer getting shot in the face, dying. Same results occurred when Obama responded to the Ferguson riots.
No one disputes the social issues involved with the poor communities. But, the timing of the leader of our country to send a message other than stop burning/destroying/hurting people is bizarre at least.
Obama has the Middle East in flames with his bizarre strategy on foreign policy and he has our own country in flames with his bizarre strategy on the very people who protect us every day all day long.
Ask yourself, in the last 6 years have race relations gotten better? Have the poor neighborhoods improved? Has the middle class improved? Who is our leader?
What's most amazing is the only group of people that have improved in the last 6 years is the top 1 percent. And it's always everybody else's fault.
