Obama’s actions on oil leak too little, too late
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I'm pretty sick of President Obama wagging his finger at BP and telling us how he is on top of this emergency. Too little, too late.
The truth is, if that well would have been on dry land or in shallow water, it would have been shut down within hours with very little damage. Thanks to liberal Democrats like Obama, environmentalists and the know-it-all do-gooders, we can't drill on land or in shallow water. Deepwater wells and foreign oil are about the only option we have left.
So, this is what you get. The largest environmental disaster ever.
Obama will use this disaster to blame others, jam more legislation down our throats, drive up the costs of energy and fuel with taxes, and enact more oppressive regulation.
