Obama shows lack of respect for Christianity
The Gazette Opinion Staff

As the media salivates over this “contraception” issue, the main point concerning Republicans is the continued assault on Christianity by President Obama.
Christians over in the Middle East are being persecuted, threatened and killed over their religious beliefs. Obama is doing his best to continue showing his lack of respect for Christianity in this country. He is too busy respecting other religions first.
Would he ever try to impose government regulations on health care to other religions in this country? Imagine the outcry as to a previous opinion decrying Republicans for being out of touch with women's issues. Once again, Republicans are not denying the rights of women to have birth control. Where are the tough questions by the mainstream media on the lack of respect Christianity receives in this country, facilitated by our own president?
I urge people to look at the big picture during this birth control issue. Resist the attempts by the media to turn this into a “Republicans are against women” fallacy. There are always two sides to every story. Find out the other side.
