Obama plan moving us closer and closer to socialism

Socialism, the definition from Webster's Dictionary: “A theory or system of social organization in which the means of production and distribution of goods are owned and controlled collectively or by the government.”

This describes the direction President Obama is taking our country.

A major component of Obama's plan is more aggressive income redistribution - another way of saying that he and the Democrats intend to significantly increase taxes on the middle and upper class.

Some people believe Obama's actions are mistakes caused by his inexperience or ineptness. Obama may lack experience, but he is a smart and effective leader. He and his liberal cohorts have a plan to bring our country down to the level of many socialistic European countries.

These actions constitute a government power grab of unprecedented proportions. School indoctrination, growing entitlement programs and demonization of big business and the productive class of our society have paved the way.

Look at Greece - a socialist country mired in economic crisis. We have examples closer to home - California, New York, New Jersey - all sinking in debt due to unrestrained spending by huge state government bureaucracies.

Vote in November. Meanwhile, be active and be heard.
