Obama doesn’t get credit he deserves

To the editor:
I'm very ashamed and disappointed at how my president (and yours) has been treated by this GOP-dominated Congress. Not only have most of his attempts at important legislation been thwarted by no support, but he has received very personal and vindictive attacks on his person, some showing racial bias.
These people must forget about President Barack Obama's ending of the Iraq War, saving our country from a possible depression, saving the auto industry, eliminating Osama bin Laden, and getting legislation passed for health care reform (the ACA) which has given millions health care coverage they did not have before.
No, he isn't perfect, but he certainly has done much more than he is given credit for.
