Obama determined to ruin economy
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 21, 2010 12:30 am
Suppose your car engine is sputtering and you are trying to come up with things that may help it. You suggest using synthetic oil and your neighbor suggests putting sand in the oil. You suggest maybe using a higher grade of fuel. He suggests putting sugar in the gasoline. You suggest replacing the squealing fan belt. He says you don't need one.
You realize his agenda is to ruin your car, so you dare not compromise.
It makes sense to compromise with someone who differs on the means to achieve the same end. It makes no sense to compromise with someone who is determined to achieve ends opposite to the ones you want.
It is obvious that President Obama and his administration are willing to ruin the engine of our economy, which is free enterprise. Conservatives understand that free enterprise is the only engine that will save this economy.
As long as this administration is determined to achieve socialist programs and sacrifice our industries, I thank God for the party of “no.”
