Now is not the time for civility

To your recent community letter, ('Be civil when you disagree with others”): I wasn't sure if this was an editorial or a Sean Hannity script.

Your reader thinks we need to be more civil in our discourse but I can say just the opposite is true. It is finally time to say enough is enough. When the supreme court says it's OK for a business to discriminate against people who don't hold the same values, I think it's perfectly fine for another business owner to ask the vile-spewing press secretary to leave their restaurant.

When you elect a Twitter troll as your president - who attacks and threatens people on a daily basis for just questioning his actions or disagreeing with him - all normal discussion goes out the window. Of course your reader also had to bring up Hillary Clinton in his comments, so I will just say to that I am no fan of hers and don't begin to know what went on with regard to her emails. But I do know for certain the crimes committed by this administration are a disgrace to our country and are tearing it apart.

Your president has now stood on the stage with murderous dictators and fawned over them like he wanted what they have, absolute power with no oversight. Everyone should be able to feel safe in their person, but that doesn't mean they can't be called out for their bigotry.
