Not all businesses warrant attacks
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jul. 8, 2011 9:35 am
Many opinion page comments and letters from the left assault businesses as the bad guys in our country. Because of the number of these assaults, I believe that most of the motivation for these allegations come from the left as a socialist movement.
Socialism advocates that all business be run by the government and suggests that if we can convince enough people that all big business is run by criminals, then it will be easier for voters to accept Marxist ideals of socialism. Bigger government would be a sign of the movement, as well.
I know we have identified and convicted some business individuals as guilty but I do not find that as justifying attacks on all businesses. The more the Democrats convey their message, the more clearly the motivation behind that message becomes clear.
