North Liberty library needs space, support

I encourage the community to support the North Liberty Community Library's expansion project. The existing library in the North Liberty Recreation Center has been in place for 15 years, and now is in desperate need for additional space and better access to technology to keep up with the rapidly growing population of the North Liberty community.
The library has already raised more than $600,000 in pledges toward the $714,000 it needed to raise privately. The fundraising campaign has now launched the direct mail portion of the campaign. Pledges are tax deductible and can be made over a five-year period.
This is a worthwhile project that will benefit the North Liberty community for years to come.
