No truth in Romney’s attacks on Obama
The Gazette Opinion Staff

It seems like Mitt Romney is running against a made-up Barack Obama, and the propaganda against Obama is amazing. Romney continues to lie, saying Obama did nothing during his early weeks in office when he had a majority. What he did is try to get bipartisan consensus with a Congress whose only goal was stalling his every move.
He could have tried to ram things through, but to the frustration of liberals, he chose to continue to seek bipartisan agreement. Compromise is such an ugly word. But it might actually get our national debt under control. Cuts and a raise in taxes, boy, the world might end. Compromise could save our country.
Who is Romney? Like what he did in Massachusetts, becoming pro-choice out of “deep conviction” and personal experience, implementing ObamaCare on a state level as a centrist conservative, and being “more pro-gay than Ted Kennedy” on discrimination. But he's not running for just Massachusetts.
Now he favors criminalizing abortion, repeal of ObamaCare, and will not stand with a gay national security spokesman if it means offending the religious right. If anything will work against Obama, Romney will use it, regardless of its truth.
To understand Romney, simply see what market he's selling to at the moment. He doesn't just believe that corporations are people; he is a walking corporation pretending to be a person.
