‘No’ people also not giving all the facts

The “vote no” people claim supporters of the proposed casino are not giving the public facts and figures.
Well, neither are the “no” people.
In one of their latest ads, they claim that a casino would harm local businesses, cause layoffs or closing of businesses.
Show me the facts.
I feel it is a scare tactic.
Council Bluffs has three casinos and is doing fine business wise. Very few empty store fronts the last time I was there.
The casino profits that were shared helped the city build a brand new library, a senior citizen's center, upgrade aqua parks and swimming pools, and add new parks.
The casinos are clean, neat and crime free. They have excellent restaurants and two of them have beautiful hotels attached.
I'm sure there is that problem of addicted people, just like there are alcoholics and drug addictions, but I don't see the “no” making any plans to close down bars. A casino would bring in tourists and dollars.
Come on, let's progress, not fall backward.
