No one in Congress deserves our vote
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Evidently Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana is man enough to say he likes working for the people of Indiana, but he does not like Congress and, therefore, will not run for re-election this year.
I share his frustration. Since one party is as guilty as the other, I have registered as an independent. We have so many issues that need to be addressed, and their refusal to get busy and solve these issues is why I am so angry and have lost any respect for them. If they think I will vote for any of them, guess what? I have decided to vote against anyone who is presently in Congress. Period.
I can save my time studying issues, trying to discern who is telling the truth and who is not and if they were bought or swayed by donations or perks.
We, the people, have the power, not them. It is called voting. Let's take back our power and throw them all out. Maybe one time would make them take us seriously.
