No harm in farmers burying their horses

It's hard to believe the Iowa Department of Natural Resources would object to burying a few horses each year in a pet cemetery, on a private farm, and is fining the (Tipton) owner $10,000. Owners who pay for burial of their horses are being more compassionate than people who would let horses starve to death on their property or those who sell to the “killer” buyers, who ship them all the way to Mexico to be killed.

Not all that long ago, dinosaurs died and became part of our earth. A hundred and fifty years ago, hundreds of thousands of bison were slaughtered and their bodies left to go back to the earth. Many farmers over the last century have been burying hundreds of pigs and cattle (and horses), and to my knowledge, no water sources have been affected. Perhaps animals returning to the earth is part of God's plan to replenish the earth.
