No celebrating using abortion right

Regarding the July 10 letter “Women have constitutional right to health care choices” by Susan Boyens:
As citizens of this great country, we enjoy freedoms that we celebrate and are grateful for. When we evoke these “rights” that were given to us, we cannot help but be proud of what we are able to accomplish. Each one of us can buy or sell property, vote in the next election, and come and go as we please. Such freedoms make a person happy to be part of the United States.
While there are many defenders of abortion, I have yet to see one woman stand up who has been a proud participant of this “right.” Planned Parenthood reported that it performed a record 333,964 abortions last year. Where are the boastful partakers? Shouldn't they be parading around in this opportunity that was not always legal? Why aren't clinics handing out stickers to each exiting pioneer (patient) that read “I aborted?” We get them after we vote. They should get something.
Abortion is a shameful act that no one should be proud of. I imagine that a handful of warped women might genuinely be proud of this despicable crime, but respectable ladies who use their “right” will hide this deed until they die, even from those closest to them.
Death has seldom been celebrated in the history of mankind and murder has only been commended by the enemies of the slain.
