Newfound appreciation for local media

My wife and I recently spent the two weeks traveling in six western states. Being a news junkie, I like to watch the different local news on television.
I have concluded that the three local stations (KGAN, KWWL and KCRG) are top notch stations compared to what I have seen recently. Eastern Iowa is lucky to have these stations and their staffs.
