New leadership needs to rise for GOP

The self-righteousness of the leaders of the Iowa GOP sickens me. In working for the removal of Justice David Wiggins from the Iowa Supreme Court, they are breaking the rules they cite that the judicial branch should be above politics.
They are unable to cite examples of times that he has ruled inappropriately and instead use arguments that are based on emotion, hoping to appeal to homophobes. The time for these GOP leaders is long past. Those with reasonable minds and opinions should be motivated to assert themselves in leadership and at the ballot box.
