Murder doesn’t erase the loving memories

I was sitting at the table one recent morning, drinking my coffee and waking up, when memories of my friend, Cathy Stickley, came to me. You see, I drove with her at night for a few years.
When I heard she was murdered, it broke the heart and soul of Cedar Rapids. She touched so many people's lives. She is and always will be loved and missed. This October, Cathy will be a grandmother again. And her daughter feels bad she won't be here to hold the baby.
But what she doesn't know is that Cathy is going to kiss that little angel in heaven before the baby comes to earth. I want to say to the family, even though your mother isn't here anymore, you still have the memories.
