Much to consider before risking a pregnancy

Ginny Blair (May 8 letter), responding to Kathleen Parker's May 5 column in favor of informing women before they have an abortion, suggested that it would be a good idea to include a video of “what a screaming infant looks like, what a short-tempered boyfriend can do to a helpless child and what the financial investment is of raising a ‘fully formed fetus.'”
Perhaps she should consider the screaming infant and the financial investment before she chooses to participate in an act that potentially makes a baby, especially with a short-tempered boyfriend! Surely she can make better choices. The wiser choice is committing to a lifelong marriage with a man who can control his emotions before making a baby.
I wonder if people who support a woman's right to choose to end a life by the termination of an unwanted pregnancy are defending that right in order to cover up their guilt. I offer another choice to deal with that guilt. Come to a God-fearing, God-loving, God-trusting, Bible-believing church where, upon acknowledgment and repentance of sin, one receives God's full and free forgiveness won by Jesus on the cross. That's a choice for life!
