Much is learned on a basketball court

To the editor:
Fran McCaffery, Iowa men's basketball coach, is '100 percent behind” Adam Woodbury's effort. And thank goodness he is.
Adding up the school of hard knocks in a basketball game is a challenge. This is a game of football without the pads. Most of us would never last more than a few minutes on the court.
There is no doubt a rare moment occurs when an undisciplined infraction takes place. Basketball players are there to win. But there is a consciousness involved and that shows. This incident displayed both players agreeing for the better cause.
