So much political violence seems to have roots and is flamed by the far right AND far left on mostly obscure social media.
I do not know, nor have I ever known, anyone on these extreme “radical” media platforms. I have no idea how to even find them. Facebook is about as far out as I get.
Starting with JFK, I have lived through so many political shootings and attacks I cannot remember them all. Social media the last 10 or so years makes it feel completely different now … for me, knowing I never see so much dark web influential information on cable, the networks, and print news is frightening.
I have to believe the vast majority of us are still somewhere in the middle … a broad middle, mind you, but not rip your guts out radical. The far out folks are still very much a minority.
On second thought, however, I do hope I am approaching “radical” politically on only one issue … RFK Jr. is a fast becoming the most dangerous person in our country. I pray the president is not too stubborn/proud to stop him.
