Monica Vernon clear choice for Braley’s seat

I've been watching the candidates in the race who are running to replace Bruce Braley. And, the choice of who I'm supporting is very clear. It's Monica Vernon.
I've known Vernon for more than 20 years. She is a hardworking advocate for our community. She started and successfully ran her own small business for more than 25 years. She also found the time to raise three wonderful daughters.
Then through her work on City Council, she has continued to work to have Cedar Rapids come back strong after the floods. She has been a great leader in our community and I know she'll be a great leader in Congress.
