Money for fine could have been better spent

I was disturbed to find a fine in the mail. It was given to me on behalf of my 51-year-old son who was driving my vehicle to the Sheffield Iowa Care Center to see my brother. My son is a confident, dependable driver. I sat in the back seat and at no time believed that we were traveling too fast.
We need to rely on real people contact and less on machines. It makes Cedar Rapids appear unfriendly and money-hungry.
I spend a lot of my time and gas money seeing hospice patients and driving carless senior citizens.
That $75 could fill my gas tank two times. Fine drunk drivers, reckless drivers and fast motorcycles and give the rest of us a break.
