Money belongs to Iowa taxpayers
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jun. 14, 2011 5:29 pm
Some Iowa officials have been going around the state talking about a billion-dollar surplus this year. This seems to give some of our elected officials the reason to increase the budget.
That is not your money; it belongs to the Iowa taxpayers!
Please do not take the government cut and then give the rest back to us in some form of benefits or other type of help. Stop spending our money on what you think will be good for the state.
