Mocking mental illness is no joke

After reading Lenore Skenazy's April 14 article, “Mental illness? It's normal to be crazy in this world,” I thought to myself, “Wow. The Gazette must be really hard up for some laughs.”
I found this article incredibly offensive. To mock mental illness is no joke. Whether you are talking about phobias or other mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, depression, or schizophrenia, the matter should not be taken likely. The title of this article is very misleading. It equates mental illness with being crazy.
Think a little harder next time you decide to joke about such a serious matter.
