Mitt Romney is a leader
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 27, 2011 11:08 pm
President Barack Obama has to be defeated, but we don't need a 30-year progressive insider like Newt Gingrich to win the GOP nomination.
Newt has stuffed his pockets enough with his many years in Washington. And when it comes down to the final analysis, it will be a one-topic 2012 election: jobs.
Obama has failed miserably. Obama appeals to the younger generation, although younger voters may lack the insight into Obama's failed leadership. They will cast a vote, nevertheless, on appearance alone.
Mitt Romney looks presidential. He may not be perfect, but he is no insider. He's a leader and I believe he can fulfill what needs to be done to create jobs and gain respect for America once again.
President Obama said that extending unemployment insurance (and the payroll tax cut) will create more jobs than the oil pipeline coming from Canada. How stupid.
