Miller-Meeks will end needless regulations
The Gazette Opinion Staff

In 2008, a majority of Americans voted for change. We have since seen a quadrupling of the federal deficit, health care overhaul that requires new taxes on manufacturers of medical equipment and deep cuts to Medicare, new regulations on business, along with new taxes, and starting in 2011, a possible end to the Bush tax cuts. Not since the 1930s have we had two years straight of unemployment above
9 percent.
This is not the change Americans hoped for. This is why we need to elect Mariannette Miller-Meeks to Congress in the 2nd District. She will take a hard-nosed approach to spending and needless business regulations.
The last time we had a balanced federal budget, the Republicans were in charge of Congress. And remember how Bill Clinton complained that Congress was not giving him enough money?
