Miller-Meeks is the best pick in the 2nd District

Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a uniquely qualified person to represent Iowa's 2nd Congressional District, but first she must win the primary against four other Republican candidates.

She was raised alongside several siblings in a military family. Money for education did not exist. She enlisted in the Army and through merit and determination rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel.

She has had a successful career as an eye doctor. She has served the State of Iowa as the Director of Public Health.

A year and a half ago she was elected to the Iowa State Senate from a four county southern Iowa Senate district which has a 3,000 voter Democrat advantage. That means the folks who know her very well respect her fairness and judgment to properly represent them at our state Capitol.
