Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a uniquely qualified person to represent Iowa's 2nd Congressional District, but first she must win the primary against four other Republican candidates.
She was raised alongside several siblings in a military family. Money for education did not exist. She enlisted in the Army and through merit and determination rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel.
She has had a successful career as an eye doctor. She has served the State of Iowa as the Director of Public Health.
A year and a half ago she was elected to the Iowa State Senate from a four county southern Iowa Senate district which has a 3,000 voter Democrat advantage. That means the folks who know her very well respect her fairness and judgment to properly represent them at our state Capitol. She is strong, determined, intelligent and very diligent in her duties to patients and voters. Please join me in voting for Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks in the June 2 primary.
