Securing the border and enforcing our laws are not just political slogans. They are essential to preserve public safety and national sovereignty. The first responsibility of the government is public safety. Without secure borders, we have no country. The One Big Beautiful Bill gives us the tools necessary to enforce our laws, stop illegal crossings and thereby help restore law and order. It is long past time that illegal immigrants return home or be deported.
This act moves us closer to the blessings of safety that are automatically bestowed when respect for the rule of law is enforced. We are securing our border. We are stopping the flow of drugs. We are rescuing children devastated by human trafficking. Dangerous drugs like fentanyl have been pouring across our borders, destroying whole communities, and tearing families apart. Countless women and children have fallen victim to human traffickers because our laws have not been enforced. By empowering our border agents, The One Big Beautiful Bill not only protects our communities, it also sends a clear message that The United States will no longer tolerate lawlessness!
I want to thank Rep. Miller-Meeks for supporting The One Big Beautiful Bill. At a time when many Americans are deeply concerned about the future of our nation, this legislation is a vital step in the right direction. Thanks for standing strong. Thank you, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, for fighting for our country.
