Miller is watching over our tax dollars

My hat is off to the Legislature and Gov. Terry Branstad. To me, any county auditor can audit anything he/she pleases. Let me put it in a way that the Linn County supervisors can understand. Shut up and let Joel Miller audit. That's what it means for the Linn County government. Understand? The voters want someone who will watch over our tax dollars being spent.
Supervisor Linda Langston saying other large counties have their own financial team, that to me is a waste of money/time. Which brings to mind, supervisors' large raise and crying that Polk County supervisors are better paid.
Supervisor Brent Oleson could have said, if he (Miller) wants to audit our books, knock yourself out. (Adding) pencils is childish, shows disrespect for Miller's position.
To me, Miller wants to watch out for the people of Linn County. I wonder if the supervisors know about the big failure of a financial company in Cedar Falls. Private or public, all need audited.
