MIAs and KIAs in North Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un agreed to repatriate 'thousands and thousands” of Americans who have not returned from Korean police action since between 1950 and 1953, according to a report by Reuters news service.
The number of those missing from their loved ones for more than 60 years is about 8,000 today.
Ironic July 27 was considered the end of the Korean War because of ink on an armistice paper but war rages on.
Where have the bodies been kept and why?
