Men’s boorish behavior ruined game for others

Went to the Iowa game Saturday (Sept. 19). Hawks win, beautiful day, most of the crowd was fantastic. The most troubling part was before the game started - where we pay our respect to the flag and our country with the playing of the national anthem. In 142, seats 18 through 20 approximately, were two gentlemen who were talking loudly at the start of the anthem. They also did not remove their hats. A lady in front of them turned around and put her finger to her lips to indicate quiet.
Their response appeared to be argumentative. They were disrespectful, idiotic, stupid, poor examples to the people they were with, but who knows, maybe these people are used to this type of behavior by these guys. They continued to berate the lady, and I believe she moved to another seat or left completely.
It was very obvious that these two men also have no respect for themselves or their actions. How sad.
