Media helped ‘cheap-fake’ voters about Biden’s cognitive fitness

Since before his presidency, there have been questions about Joe Biden’s mental competency. We have always been assured by the media, the campaign, and the administration itself that these are nothing but lies, fake news, outright fabrications. We hear about how he is sharper, more intense, and better than ever with great conviction and passion. Any videos that claim to portray him stumbling or wandering lost are labeled as “cheap fakes.” The message we have been given has been crystal clear and unwavering, President Joe Biden is not only competent, he is better than ever!
His debate against Trump completely unravels this narrative. He not only looked to be in poor health, his answers were often garbled and nonsensical. He even got angry and sunk to personal attacks, while Trump of all people remained collected and calm.
Worse than simply revealing how weak our President is, it shows just how many people have been blatantly lying to us. The Ministry of Truth in Orwell’s 1984 would be very proud. These lies, and how accepted they were, should terrify every single American. The truth just became a lot more difficult to discern, a dangerous state of affairs to have a few months before an election.
