Media haven’t grown up after 40 years

What year is this, 1969 or 2009? The picture of the dying marine (Sept. 4) is something I would have expected in 1969. Since the end of the Vietnam War, I expected the news media had grown up.
What is next? College protesters, spitting on our soldiers, calling them baby killers. It happened before in 1969. Is this article the start of it again? Just because the national news service ran the photo, doesn't mean The Gazette had to.
