Maybe council can seek advice from school board

Isn't it interesting that the Cedar Rapids City Council wants to have input in the Cedar Rapids school board's reorganization of elementary schools?

Maybe council members should consider allowing the school board input on city TIF decisions that directly affects money for schools?
