Mauro has enhanced Iowa’s election integrity

In the campaign for Iowa Secretary of State, I support incumbent Michael Mauro. Over the past four years, Mauro has done more to enhance the integrity of Iowa's elections than anyone else over the past 25 years. Mauro fought to put into place uniform voting equipment and a verified paper trail. He also brought the state voter registration database in-house, which will save $300,000 to $500,000 every year.
Iowa is a model for the entire country, and now is the time to build on that record. With a 25-year record of running elections and overseeing budgets, Mauro has the background, qualifications and experience to continue making the Secretary of State's office work for all Iowans.
