Mathis will lead state in the right direction

The voters in Senate District 18 are excited to have Liz Mathis as our candidate for state senator. I care about this election because I am concerned for all who work in Iowa, either as part of a collective bargaining union, labor union or a worker not protected by a labor contract. This election will determine the direction of our state. Will we continue to be a progressive thinking group or will this become a race to the bottom?
Liz has the experience in the community and throughout Eastern Iowa to work to create job opportunities and recruit businesses that will bring quality jobs and careers. She understands the increasing needs of business for skilled workers and the education and training required for a successful workforce. She also knows that the necessary education for a successful adult life begins as a young child in the classroom.
Liz has valuable experience working with the needs of families and the services that are sometimes required to help a family thrive. She is dedicated to working for us!
