Mathis will be able to reach across aisles

We will miss Swati Dandekar as she moves on to represent us on the Iowa Utilities Board.
I am confident that Liz Mathis will do an excellent job representing District 18 in the Iowa Senate. She has spent her entire career in the communications business, most recently working with Four Oaks, the Affordable Housing Network and Iowa Kids-Net.
We need a senator who can communicate with Democrats and Republicans and with Gov. Terry Branstad to help our Main Street businesses thrive, spur job growth and bring more business to Iowa. Mathis promises not to shortchange our educational system and to support our area's most vulnerable children who are affected by poverty and neglect.
