Mathis will address job problems

I'm happy to see Liz Mathis is addressing many of the issues at the root of the decline of the labor and the middle class in Iowa. She plans to give Iowa companies priority for taxpayer-funded projects. This alone will help keep Iowa workers working plus it could easily result in putting more people to work with the resultant reduction in unemployment rates.
In addition, she wants to increase the focus on increasing job skills and worker training. This training can and should result in improving the ability to attract companies that have requirements for a technically savvy workforce. This would represent good paying jobs that can further reduce our unemployed ranks.
Liz Mathis represents a strong positive answer for the middle class and workers of this state.
