Match college athletic requirements to proposed med/dental school policy

The Iowa Legislature proposes to require 80% of students in the medical and dental colleges to be from Iowa.
If it is good for Iowa to have 80% of medical and dental students be from Iowa, it seems like it would be good for Iowa to require 80 percent of players on the Regent schools’ football and basketball teams be from Iowa. This would increase opportunities for Iowa athletes to play at the college level.
