Marine Corps rock band went above and beyond

For those who missed Oorah Rock, the U.S. Marine Corps rock band concert in Greene Square Park on June 27, I feel sorry for you because you missed a fun night. I always look forward to listening to the Marine Corps band when they come to town for the festival and seeing them in the parade, at the cardboard boat races and in concert but this time they went above and beyond anything before.

It was also a wonderful chance for many of us to meet and thank some of our country's finest up close and they showed us what wonderful talented men and women this country has chosen to keep is safe in our time of need. I just want to say thank you for bringing such wonderful talent and great entertainment to our town and I hope we have the chance to be entertained by them again.
