Many thanks for an outstanding Honor Flight

I recently returned from an Honor Flight. I was overwhelmed with the efficiency and minute-to-minute coordination, and the logistics involved in this operation.
We went to eight different memorials - outstanding! Huge welcome in the Washington, D.C. airport, police escort at all times, people standing along streets waving.
We returned to Cedar Rapids to the most amazing reception ever - law enforcement, motorcycle groups, American Legion, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, parents and children.
A heartfelt thanks to Honor Flight staff and volunteers, and to all the guardians who gave time and effort. Special thanks to my personal guardian, my son-in-law John Takes.
