Many districts, leaders add to school costs

I was a member of the Sioux City school board when I moved here in 1983. We covered all of Sioux City and rural Sioux City.
I was quite surprised to find that Cedar Rapids had so many school districts, each with their own administrative and teaching staff, etc. This is expensive, folks.
If we want to provide quality education for our students, we need to have more teachers and centralized administration. We could offer more subject matter and have more reasonably sized classes.
